Package Details

We’ll cover housebreaking, crate training, nipping, submissive peeing, excessive barking, and other typical puppy behaviors. It’s imperative to teach puppies what is acceptable behavior from the very beginning, to help them become a well-rounded adult dog!

We’ll also learn some fun training exercises using food to motivate. These exercises will help set the stage for you to raise a calm, balanced dog who can be a crazy puppy when appropriate, but also stay calm and quiet when asked.

  • Sit – your pup will learn short duration sit for a treat; you will learn how to extend duration in the future.
  • Down – same training process as sit.
  • Place – stay on a bed with defined boundaries. Together we’ll introduce the concept to your dog and explain how to continue building the skill.
  • Leash walking – introduction to polite leash manners, how to curb undesirable behaviors before they develop into habits
  • Kennel training – how to teach your puppy to be comfortable in the kennel, how to size a kennel, when to use a kennel

This package includes one 60 minute private training session and consultation in your home. $100 flat rate within the Tri-Valley area (Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin). Travel fees will apply outside of the Tri-Valley area.

If we see any warning signs of future problems, we’ll also tell you what are the red flags we see, why they are red flags, and how to humanely and effectively correct your puppy. Puppies need to be corrected for problem behavior because even the tiniest, cutest puppies become dogs. What you will tolerate from a two month old puppy may be the exact same behavior that forces you to re-home or even euthanize a two year old dog. Don’t wait to train your dog until they are set in their ways.
